So, it’s december 31st already. It was a rough year, 2007. Let’s just say I am glad it is over. I hated it. Especially the first half of it, coping with dad gone, grandma gone. Everything was in pieces, my life shattered. But you have to move on and I did. And I have to say I didn’t do it really bad, seeing as I am still here, have a job and my marriage still alive and kicking. Between me and Croga everything goes really well. I have had my moods the last couple of weeks, but he coped with that, I have to say. He is such a sweetheart. Being there when I need him, silently gone when whole hell broke loose. I cried a lot last couple of days, mostly in silence. I don’t always want to bother him with my grief and pain.
But, as always, there are also a few good things that happened.

Ok, the picture is somewhat blurry. It’s taken with my mobile phone after consuming what’s supposed to be in those bottles 
But we had a lot of fun. As every year with Christmas Eve we went over to good friends to have dinner and chat, just have a nice time.
We do this for seven years in a row now and I doubt it’s ever going to change 
It’s the one evening in a year Croga and I don’t drive ourselves and both drink alcohol and have fun. Until 2005 my father was our chauffeur and he picked us up, both a little drunk, in the middle of the night.
Last year my sis offered to do this and she did. This year there was no one around that could do this (sis being about 160 miles away from here), so we took a cab home.
So what on earth am I doing up this early after only 4 hours of sleep?! Read the rest of this entry »
It has been a while, I know. Good news is, the worst is behind me. Since december 14th I am feeling somewhat better every day, and even start to look forward to Christmas a little bit So that’s good. I still need to put up my christmas tree, mind you. Didn’t feel like it. The tree is in the shed for almost a week now, so I told myself I was going to put it in the house and decorate it tomorrow. I have never been this late with decorating a tree and the house for Christmas. Ah well, there is a first time for everything, isn’t there.
To keep you guys entertained, here is a little something.
